Pattern Obsession

I'm sure you've been seeing these quatrefoil patterns all over the place lately. And I've just become even more obsessed with the exotic look these artisanal tiles can bring. These fetching displays, be they monochromatic, pictorial, or prettily patterned, add personality to floors, walls, and backslashes. These images below turn ordinary surfaces into works of art.  Hand painted tiles display the work of true crafts people and although not all decorative squares are hand-crafted by artisans the machine reproductions are just as acceptable as the real deal.
