Designer Spotlight : Sheila Bridges
Sheila Bridges is known for her elective mix to embrace color and classical proportions. Harlem meets New Orleans is a great depiction of her body of work. Originally from Philadelphia Pennsylvania, Sheila Bridges moved to New York City in 1986. She holds degrees from Brown University and Parsons School of Design, and studied decorative arts at Polimoda in Florence, Italy.
Sheila has been a ranking designer of the industry for many years with both national and international publications behind her name. She has designed for many prominent Ivy League Universities, entertainers, public figures including the 8,300 square foot Harlem offices for former President Bill Clinton and his staff. Her accomplishments and business endeavors have put her in the forefront as a Top 100 Interior Designer in the country. Sheila is not only a designer, but also hosted her own design series, “Sheila Bridges Designer Living” for the Fine Living Network. She’s a two time published author, and home fashions designer with more recent buzz about her Harlem Toile De Jouy textiles and wall coverings. Check out her line here: Changing The Face of Toile.
